At our home Bevern View, we care for some of the most vulnerable people in Sussex who live with profound disabilities.
Your donation can help us provide a life-changing short break to a specially adapted bungalow, pain reducing hydrotherapy sessions or transport to inclusive community events, college and day trips to Brighton.

Why not hold your own quiz night with family and friends? Head to your local pub or village hall and either write your own quiz or find a ready-made one online. Find an enthusiastic quiz master and charge a donation fee for participating; it’s a fun way to fundraise! You could even get donations for drinks and snacks if you can get them donated.
Are you a star baker, or just love eating cake? Either way, a quick and simple way to fundraise for The Bevern Trust is by holding a bake sale. Do it at home, at work, at school or in your place of worship: wherever you like!
If you’re approaching a big anniversary or birthday, why not throw a party to celebrate while fundraising for us? You invite the guests and we’ll provide the collection tins and posters you need. You could even ask for donations instead of gifts and cards to make that extra bit of difference.
If you have a garden you’re most proud of (no matter how big or small), why not open your gates to the public so they too can enjoy your beautiful outdoor space? If you have an interesting or unique garden, we want to hear from you!
This could be the year you’ve decided to do something different, to achieve a personal milestone or goal for a special occasion or even a Birthday that defines this year for you. As a disability charity, we are inspired daily by the physical and emotional challenges that our residents, their families and supporters regularly face and live with every day.
Many people with a profound disability are marginalised in every area of society. They can be ignored, overlooked and excluded. But you can help change their life by leaving a gift to The Bevern Trust in your Will.
If you do already have a will and want to leave a gift to The Bevern Trust, contact your solicitor and let them know your intentions. You can work with them either to (a) make a new will or (b) a shorter and less expensive “codicil”.
If you haven’t already made a will you can make one and leave a gift of a specific amount of money or a proportion of your estate to us and other charities. Once your family and friends are catered for, anything you can provide us will make a huge difference to our work.
