Knockout Lewes Lions

Knockout Lewes Lions

Lewes Lions hosted It’s a Knockout on Sunday at Longhill High School Rottingdean. The fully inclusive event meant that everyone, regardless of ability was able to participate, compete and get involved with It’s a Knockout. The competition was tough and Bevern Trust really went for it, coming… third over all! From fast-paced relay action, to balancing skills and slalom races, there really was something for everyone and plenty of cheering from the sidelines meant a great atmosphere all round.

All competitors were presented with a commemorative medal and certificate from Mayor of Brighton & Hove, Councillor Lynda Hydeand.

Our highlight was Jen from Bevern View winning vouchers for ‘Best Dancer’ at the disco, but everyone was delighted with their medals and certificate for taking part in the day.

For people with profound disabilities, it is vital that events like these take place. Not only is it great fun but community inclusion is something that we feel passionately about at The Bevern Trust.

Lewes Lions Club UK are a fantastic community group and great supporters of The Bevern Trust.
