Bevern Friends

The Friends of Bevern  have had a few changes recently. I have become the new Chair Person taking over the role from John Simpson. John has done an incredible amount of work for The Friends over the years and given so much of his own time to fundraising for which we are truly grateful. He will kindly remain as part of our committee. We have also be joined by a new member, Becky Archard. Becky is also an Activity support worker at Bevern View, full of enthusiasm and is a welcome addition to our team.

On the 30th November we held a very successful fundraising afternoon at St Mary’s Church in Barcombe. The Sussex Police Choir entertained us all by singing Christmas Songs and Carols. With mulled wine and mince pies this was a great start to the festive season. We also started to sell raffle tickets for the wonderful BevernView Christmas Hamper which was drawn on the 19th December.

Bevern Friends will be hosting a monthly coffee morning/afternoon at the home. This will be an opportunity for The Residents, Friends, Staff, Parents and Trustees to get together regularly and keep in touch.
