Help us in the Garden – Garden Volunteer

When you help us in our Garden at Bevern View it can be an enriching experience for you, the Bevern Trust and, most importantly, for the profoundly disabled people and their families we help… we want to do more.

Help make a positive difference to your own life and the lives of others, by becoming a Volunteer Gardener at The Bevern Trust in Sussex

Why help us in the Garden?

You may be thinking they wouldn’t want me, or I am not old enough, or I don’t know anything about being gardens. We don’t just want you, we need you and so do the people we care for, anyone can volunteer (you will need a Disclosure and Barring or DBS Check if over 16) and we will support you to do your best, provide tools where needed because thats our commitment to you.

Our outside space is important to us and just to have someone who might mow the small amount of grass or keep the weeds down can make all the difference.  We are trying to improve our outside spaces and you can help. As a volunteer gardener, you can learn new skills, meet new people and directly influence an organisation or cause that you care about.

If you help make a positive difference to your own life and the lives of others, think of the sense of fulfilment as you support The Bevern Trust’s mission to: ensure people with profound disabilities can live a fulfilling life, all by being a volunteer gardener…we give more so that our residents get more.

If you can:

  • dig
  • plant
  • weed
  • mow
  • or have an aptitude and love of gardening

Then please get in touch to talk to us about volunteer gardening at the Bevern Trust.
