The Bevern Trust ensures that people with profound disabilities can live truly active and fulfilling lives, in a home where they can feel safe, are loved and are offered compassionate care.

The Bevern Trust — (Formerly part of the Agape Trust) started with a care home founded by parents in 1999. This movement was in response to concerns at the lack of facilities for young people with complex needs. It aimed to provide a home for young people for as long as they choose to live there. The Trust was formed by two parents groups – one in Hastings and the other in Barcombe – working together and combining their resources.

The two parent groups continue their work in their locality and Trustees are appointed with a particular focus and responsibility for their local project.
